For this project I started gathering research and articles that fit the topic of axe and knife throwing. In illustrator I made logos for the magazine and the 3 companies the ads would be for. I then planned out a photos and spent an afternoon shooting the photos I would need for the project. To create the 3 ads i started in Photoshop to create all of the illustration and photos needed to sell my products. I compiled the logos,Photoshop images and needed text into my inDesign documents for each ad and saved them off. I did this because in the industry we would be getting ads already done from other designers to place in, by create the ads separately I understand both processes better. For the magazine, I set up the document utilizing paragraph and character styles, parent pages and column layouts for ease of editing and to keep the document organized. I designed and laid out the articles for each section and completer a clear and informational cover and contents page. To finish the project off I paginated thepages and printed a full colour mock up of my work to show it went together.
