The quote I chose has a special meaning to me, “A lion doesn’t lose sleep over the opinion of sheep,” has been a quote I tell myself often. Reminding myself that others opinions of my should not cause me grief has helped me keep focused and said yes to opportunities I would have been fearful of judgment from. This quote was also popular for its appearance in HBO’s Game of Thrones said by Jaime Lannister, who’s family crest is a lion. To start this project off I drew a textured background in Procreate and added the illustrations of a lion and a sheep to the corners, this gave me a lot of space to animate and add my text. Bringing this as a PSD file from Procreate into Illustrator I added and stylized my text to add emphasis on the words lion and sheep. After completing the illustration I brought it into After effects and animated the words coming into framing using scale, position, rotation and opacity. I made the animation smooth by utilizing key frame assistants like easy easy. After getting the timing finalized I added music and sound effects to enhance the emphasis of the quote.
